A blend of two vineyards in Kangaroo Ground and Woori Yallock, this wine is from the Northernmost and Southernmost points of the Yarra Valley. With a similar ripening period, but distinctly different soils, MV6 pinot noir from both vineyards was picked within a period of 1 week and treated in a near identical manner whilst being kept entirely separate. Destemmed after chilling, innoculated after 36 hours in tank, pressed to seasoned barriques to complete MLF after approx 12 days on skins. No further additions were made until SO2 was added at the start of June. The wine was
racked to tank in January, racked again and bottled.
